Performance Evaluations
- Neurological
- Arthritis
- Puppy evaluations
- Movement Analysis
- Force Plate
- Gait Analysis
Whether your dog is involved in agility, herding, obedience,
dock diving, Schutzhund, tracking, or any of the other dog
sports, a full performance evaluation will assist in determining
the dog's ability and performance potential in their individual
sport.
The basic Performance Evaluation includes the
following:
- Gait analysis
- Force plate analysis with a Uni-cam
- Static
system review of video or actual performance of event
if possible
- Body evaluation
- Structural evaluation
- Muscle and joint evaluation.
We are also able to
perform a Dartfish analysis for an additional fee to fully
evaluate the dog's gait and movement.

We will evaluate the dog with the goals you have in mind.
If any problems are discovered, we will formulate a plan, inclusive
of treatments and exercises, to amend the problems and get
your dog in its top shape for their activity. Sometimes
the dog is not best suited for the activity desired and we
can discuss other alternatives.

Many of our clients come from the New England area. However, we also see dogs that come from long distances to see and stay with us! Check out our map to see the states represented by Wizard of Paws clients! We even have a dog from Greece right now! And we always have many dogs coming down from wonderful Canada. Debbie Gross Saunders, MSPT, OCS, CCRP is truly a wizard.
I took my dog to three veterinary hospitals including Tufts
and none of them were able to diagnose her problem. Debbie
figured out what was wrong on our first visit. She specializes
in physical therapy and rehabilitation for animals using
many techniques including movement and gait analysis, laser
treatment, manual therapy, modalities and more. She is a
truly talented and caring person.

Hi, Debbie,
I just wanted to let you know that we just returned from the 2008 North American Dog Agility Championships and Aja placed second in her division! It would have never happened without you and your treatment.
This time last year I was thinking that I may have to face the reality that she could not do agility anymore. She ran beautifully and held up for the entire 5 days. I will be forever grateful for all that you have done for her. I remember you saw her for the first time at the end of a very long day at a seminar in Baltimore. The was the beginning of a great outcome!
With regards,
Pat
